You can donate to support the services NAAJA provides to Aboriginal Territorians.

All general donations of $2 or more to NAAJA are tax deductible.

 

General Donation

The needs of Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory justice system have never been higher.

Over many years, laws and policies have led to the high incarceration rate of Aboriginal men, women and children in the Northern Territory.

The mistreatment of Aboriginal children in detention led to a Royal Commission. Aboriginal children continue to routinely comprise 100% of the youth detention population in the NT.

Aboriginal women represent the fastest growing incarcerated group, with underlying issues of poverty, trauma, domestic and family violence, and homelessness contributing to overrepresentation in the criminal justice system.

With your support, NAAJA can make a difference.

Your donation will assist NAAJA’s work in the following areas:

  • Supporting the welfare and dignity of Aboriginal people in the NT
  • Supporting Aboriginal women
  • Supporting community-based projects
  • Supporting Aboriginal children and young people in care and detention

Leave a donation as a gift in your Will for the work of NAAJA in the future.

 

Annual Tax Receipts

To receive a Tax Receipt for your donation, please call NAAJA’s Executive Officer Finance on (08) 8982 5100 or via mail – GPO Box 1064 DARWIN, NT 0800 and a receipt shall be issued to you.
