CRIMINAL SOLICITOR (JUNIOR) – DARWIN
The successful applicant will be a lawyer admitted to practice with up to 2 years post-admission experience. The successful applicant will appear primarily in the local Magistrates Court and surrounding bush courts.

Most lawyers with the agency travel once a month to remote communities throughout the Top End of the Northern Territory to attend bush courts. Those within the Darwin region include Tiwi Islands, Wadeye, Daly River, Maningrida, Jabiru, Borroloola and Oenpelli.
It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated empathy and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, history and culture.
