CIVIL SOLICITOR- DARWIN
NAAJA’s Civil Section has a vacancy for a solicitor and we are seeking a lawyer with initiative, common sense and a commitment to providing access to justice. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in civil law and a capacity to provide high quality oral and written advice on a range of legal issues.
Lawyers with the agency travel to remote communities throughout the Top End of the Northern Territory on a regular basis to conduct civil advice clinics.
It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated empathy and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, history and culture.
